Thanks to Minted, my kids get to share special personalized valentines with their classmates this year...
Definitely a step up from the boxed sets at the drugstore. Minted has over 100 Classroom Valentines designs to choose from and Nicholas settled on one right away. Olivia had a harder time picking just one, so we settled on two designs ~ one for the girls in her class, and one for the boys. (And she was quite adamant that the boys will get the peach valentines.) Super cute.
The valentines came out perfect, but I knew they would (we ordered our Christmas cards through Minted). I punched a hole in each valentine card and tied it with baker's twine to a bag of the kids' choice of treats. Haribo peach candies for the boys in Livi's class, of course (these candies smell amazing). The girls are getting Hershey's kisses and Rainbow Loom bracelets. Nicholas has been very busy making a bracelet for everyone in his class, and they'll get Hershey's kisses too. He's pretty excited to give these out this year... which is saying a lot because he's "8 now, ya know."
When I ordered the kids' valentines, I picked up a little something for myself, too...
I loved the graphic on their "Love you to the Moon and back" Valentine's Day greeting card, so I changed the wording on mine to simply display Olivia's full name ~ voila, wall art. It is gorgeous in person, with a matte finish on thick paper, and amazing print quality. Definitely my fave purchase of late. But, my husband wants to take it to his office ~ and I'm not sure if I want to let it go ;)
p.s. Right now Minted is offering free shipping on all their Classroom Valentines.
