Yes, the postman is good to me. This week I received a fat quarter bundle of Aneela Hoey's "Little Apples" line because I won it! Won it in a giveaway on her blog... lucky duck that I am (thank you so much, Aneela!) I adore all the prints but some I am absolutely in love with... I can't wait to cut into the stuff. I hope I have the discipline to cross a few things off the to-do list before I begin, but you know how some fabrics just call to you...
And have you seen the sneak peek of Aneela's new line, "A Walk in the Woods"? Go take a look. Those mushrooms and bows are killing me!
The postman also delivered a surprise package from a sweet girl named Elena, who sent the most beautiful antique lace and trims I've ever seen, some beautiful vintage feedsack, and candy. Holy wow. Thank you so much, Elena... I am totally amazed by the gorgeous gifts and your generosity.
This weekend I plan to do some serious sewing, if at all possible. While the kids were at school today, I added an embroidered bear applique to the baby quilt (I'm still not done with that one)...
... and then it was time to pick them up again!
Happy Friday all!
