Mia has been home almost a week now. During that first day home, we immediately laid her in the middle of our bed to 'ooh' and 'aah' over her... and to cover her with kisses.
She's an adorable, sweet smelling, and snuggly addition, but we're still adjusting to life as a family of 6... taking it slow and easy. I'll see you soon... promise!

hello. Mia is here. And, oh goodness, she is adorable...
Seriously. My heart aches for this girl. I am now home from hospital but Mia is staying in the NICU a bit longer. She was born by emergency c-section at 35 weeks, weighing 4 lbs. and 11 oz. (yikes!) There is so much to say but for now I just wanted to share with you that she's arrived and we are both getting stronger every day.
And I wanted to thank you. Really, wow. Though I won't be able to respond individually to all the comments and emails I've received I do have this to say:
1. No, I don't think you're weird or a stalker... I think it's awesome you took the time to write.
2. Your positive thoughts and prayers have meant the world to me.
3. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love blogging... and I can't wait to get back to it... just need a little more time!
