Over the past week (or so) we've celebrated Anne's 17th birthday, Grandpa's birthday, Mia's baptism, and the birth of a new baby in the family. Whew! Also, I've been busy working on samples for my friend's booth at Quilt Market and I made this quilted pouch that's too big for what I'd intended ~ dang it. Once I figure out what I'll be using it for now, it'll probably get a snap or a handle or something. We'll see. I think my brain's a little fuzzy from this whirlwind I've been on... oh, and the sleep deprivation doesn't help much either ;)
That pretty white trim up there with the red stitching? It's my new favorite. It was the handle on my Anthropologie shopping bag but I cut it off and yup, I'm going to use it. As for all the other new things "on my desk"... thank you, Rach! Thank you, Christin! Thank you, Anthropologie and World Market.
