What I'm saying here is, first, hi ~ then hey, look at Mia's bum (love) ~ and then there are a few random pics I just had to take of Mia dressed and waiting to go to the park ~ because, basically, she's so dang cute. I love all her little clothes and I love, more importantly, for her to be comfortable. So, lastly, I wanted to show you the bodysuits I just appliqued, 'cuz they came out pretty cute. Btw, if you're picky like me, I've got to tell you I've discovered the best onesies and tees are at The Blank Canvas. Thanks to Kristine of Townmouse (love her aesthetic), I'm now hooked. They're made of silky soft, thick cotton ~ really, the best quality I've found ~ and astonishingly, the prices are perfect, too.
On the onesies I did some simple raw edge applique using scraps of old baby clothes. One of the scraps was Olivia's old nightgown ~ I love reusing material that way and I'd forgotten how fun it is to play designer and embellish a tee in your own style.
On the to-do list: I'm hoping to do some Christmas sewing. (Also on the list: unloading the last of the Christmas decorations and throwing a super cool "Star Wars" birthday party at the end of the week.) I'm also hoping to get a full night's sleep one day. (Ha! Very ambitious, am I.) We'll see what actually happens... but hey, make sure to come back tomorrow to see my next batch of holiday tags for the Tag-a-Long!
