Stitch Zakka is here! Have you seen it yet? I'm in the book (woo hoo!) alongside a whole bunch of other crafty women and frankly, I got a little starstruck when I saw their names. (Shall I be a name-dropper? Ok. Aneela Hoey, Yoko Saito, Jill Hamor, Anne Sutton, Natalie Lymer... to name a few... and my homegirl Kristyne Czepuryk.) Really, I'm just so flattered that I was asked to be included. (Thank you, Gailen Runge, at Stash Books!)
Stitch Zakka includes 22 projects with complete sewing instructions and embroidery patterns ~ there's a pillow, a tote, an iPad sleeve, a baby bib, and pin cushions, for example ~ and this is the "lovely letter carrier" that I contributed to the book:
Would you like to win a copy of Stitch Zakka? I'm happy to give one away. Just leave a comment on this post telling me... one thing that's making you happy this summer. Open to all. Comments will close Friday, July 5th at midnight. I will announce the winner on Saturday, July 6th. Good luck to you!
I'm trying to hold on, hold on, and really enjoy these moments I've got now...
{ Mia's dress was a gift from a friend in the UK... thank you, Claire! }
This summer is going to be over in the blink of an eye... I can feel it. I hope you all are enjoying yours!
