This is the month! March 2017 is finally here. That means Charleston + Les Petits are right now shipping to shops and you'll be able to see in person these two collections I have been so excited to share with you. I hope you love them as much as I do!!
I don't know if I have told you the story about how this line came to be, but it's a short one. In July 2016, on our cross-country road trip from California to Williamsburg, VA we happened to stop in Charleston for dinner. In total we spent three hours there. We drove around for a bit. Then we got out on foot. We had dinner at 82 Queen and I happened to take this one photo afterward in the rain before leaving the city...
And then we drove on to our next stop.
But I was in love. Charleston. No really! Love. And I decided right away to design a collection inspired by it. So I did.
I went back to Charleston in October 2016 with my sister in law, Lisa, and we walked and ate and drank our way around the city. She was such a good sport letting me snap away ~ hundreds of photos of all the charming details. The problem is... everywhere you turn in Charleston, there is something beautiful and charming!
If you ever get a chance, I hope you'll go and see what a fabulous city it is. Ps. It was recently voted "Best City in the World" by Travel + Leisure magazine. That's a pretty good endorsement I think ;) If you've already been there, what's your favorite part???
